先日の毛虫の正体が判りました。
Now I found out the identity of the caterpillar that I mentioned it the other day.
ヒオドシチョウでした。
It was tortoiseshell.

多くの蛹がツリーハウスの軒先に成虫になるのを待っています。
A lot of pupas growing to imago at the edge of eaves of Tree house.


この蝶はエノキを食樹として越冬して春に卵を産むようです。
They pass the winter eating hack-berry as tree food and seems to lay in spring.
これだけの蛹を目撃したのは始めてです。
I have never seen such many pupas at the same time.
日本ある地域では、レッドリストに載っている蝶であることも判りました。
I became to know they are on the red list at some Japanese areas.
